Archiving Voice is a video-performance in which Mansour repetitively recites the 28 letters of the Arabic alphabet in the order that they appear from the front of the mouth to the back of the mouth and back again, steadily increasing the pace with which she does so. Conducting this self-examination highlights the endurance, pressure, and frustration involved with articulating specific guttural letters that are not found in the English language.
